"I'd give them zero stars if I could. First off let me say that all maybe 3 times I've been to this salon the staff try upselling me as soon as I walk through the door. I do SNS dip nails on my hands and gel polish for my feet. It works for me, has for years and it is what I always get, no matter what salon I go to. Well as usual this visit was no different. The staff wasn't welcoming at all. They seated me in a chair for my pedicure and immediately she approached me suggesting I get their solar nails instead (which, of course costs more!) I declined. Just minutes later the owner approached me AGAIN, strongly suggesting I get solar nails instead of SNS. I again had to turn down their infamous sales pitch. The man who did my pedicure was very kind and did a great job on my feet. Once I got to the manicure table however, the manager (obviously pissed since I turned down her upsell) told me halfway through my manicure that my French tips I requested would actually be done in gel polish. I declined as I didn't understand why they'd use gel when I specifically requested SNS. She says that's how they do it there at her salon. Then she asked me to pay before finishing my nails. I was so disappointed and frustrated with the way the ladies at the salon were treating me and just wanted out of there. Even though they only did my base with SNS & the tips in gel polish she still had nerve enough to charge me the $25 upcharge for the French tips! Her frint desk lady charged me $125. Then the owner compalined I still owed $10 more and argued with me with the reciept right there in my hand. FINALLY I took a $10 bill out of my wallet in cash and gave her since she was so very unprofessional & literally was arguing with me infront of everyone there. Like I said, this salon is notorious for upcharging and overcharging anyway they can. It's all about money & the owner treats her staff like slaves & talks down to them. I'll never go back. If you have read this far PLEASE take your business elsewhere- any salon but this one. The French tips they charged me so much for were chipped within 3 days, since the gel doesn't hold up like SNS does. I'm shocked this salon is still in business."

"My first time experience at Hi Nails was great! Jewel was very patient in answering my questions regarding which product to use on my nails and I love how they turned out! I then had a great pedicure with Holly afterwards and felt very pampered. The salon is beautiful, modern, relaxing and very clean and everyone, including the hostess, is so friendly and professional. "I went in for dip but came out with Solar. It was a last minute change in plans based on a nail tech & her customer. It was more expensive but worth it. My nail tech didn't speak English too well, but we managed to make it work great. He would get another worker to help translate. He was so patient with me. Then I got my eyebrows waxed- that pretty much speaks for itself. Lol. The atmosphere is friendly, modern, clean, relaxed. Prices were fair. The overall experience was excellent! In fact, I'd travel the 1.5 hours to get my nails done here again."
