"This place is Awesome, I transported our equipment to the island on the commercial ferry with our Lowboy tractor trailer. All of the staff are very helpful and professional."

"First time on the island and our lodging included membership. We first went to Horizons for lunch. It was 100pm and no one was eating so we were seated quickly, very nice young man was the hostess. Waitress came over soon and she was very friendly as well. We were seated close to the Coffee Stand. The blond haired girl that was working there started arguing with coworker , I looked up to see what the commotion was about and she is staring at me with attitude and continued on. I found her to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I ordered pizza and it was delicious. My husband had meatloaf sandwich and he was very disappointed. It is not meatloaf at all. It is a hamburger with bacon. He also had a double bourbon and it was $30. We left Horizons and moved to the pool. After spending the morning in the ocean, the pool was very refreshing. We enjoyed it very much."

"Great vibes, great drinks. They were very accommodating for my handicapped mother. She was able to walk into the zero entry pool and do physical therapy. Beautiful pools when they aren't too busy"

"Update - 03-2021 This entire Island, the tennis, pickle ball, golf and restaurants have been exceptional since I wrote my review 2 years ago. Everyone goes out of their way to assist and help and make sure you are having a good time. Oliver in the golf pro shop is awesome. The rest of the island is fantastic ==================================== This is a rating thats a combined rating for tennis, golf and the club NOT Bald Head Island as a whole. Weve been coming here for 20 years and Bald Head Island is an amazing and unique gem. The golf course is a fun and challenging course and in excellent shape. The cart crew is helpful and freindly. I did not find the same for the starter or pro shop crew NOT friendly or helpful. The starter was extremely unfreindly both ties I played on this trip. The tennis starter or pro shop attendant was not only unhelpful but down right rude and no one else was there for 1.5 hours. The outdoor bar is very nice and staff very friendly. The restaurant is very nice and service is excellent as well."

"Edited we are here at Horizons amazing food and service..more casual and one on one service seems great...5 stars for them. Bald head island club -Food is ok ..high end but prepared off season to number of customers. Off season good service has always been slow and bad cause they get 20 percent tip no matter what. Inside is high end reserved. Used to love the peli, horizons was delayed but we will catch it in September...to try all the new amenities. HORIZONS IS AWESOME. UPDATED"
