"This was my second trip with the guys at Rigged n Ready. We had a great trip. Caught lots of fish both times. Captain Kevin provided great instruction for the guys that had never fished and provided good tips for the experienced anglers. The boats are nice, clean and always prepared to catch fish."

"Going into the store we were greeted by Capt. Kevin and his wife, and they were so kind and helpful! We had a great morning with Captain Joe for our sons’ 1st sea fishing trip! Unfortunately the fish weren’t biting much and the winds got up a little making it more rough than we were expecting, but Capt. Joe was awesome explaining everything to our boys, giving them info about the fish and how they behave etc. Great lesson for the kids that you can’t control nature- but a super fun time none the less! We will for sure be going out with Rigged & Ready next time we’re back in town!"

"After reading several reviews i noticed most all were positive and the ones that were negative were either from fake accounts or people who simply had a belief that fishing is a guaranteed sport. It’s not and some days can be a bust, no matter what any Capt does to ensure a successful trip. I decided to call Rigged and Ready to see if they had any charters available for an impromptu fishing trip for me and my son. Kim was helpful and gave me a few options and we reserved an afternoon trip for 1:00 the following day. We stopped by the store and were immediately impressed with their selection and their friendly and helpful staff. We bought a few things to fish off the dock at a friends house. The following day we arrived just as Capt JP was returning from a morning excursion. The family who disembarked had several nice fish and immediately began filleting them under the direction of Capt JP. We took off shortly after and the Capt asked me what your we signed up for and I commented I wanted to catch some “big fish” and suggested we “go big or go home” He took me serious and we set out for a 20 mile off shore trip. The trip out was a tad rough but nothing we didn’t enjoy. We also understood it’s fishing and nothing is guaranteed so our mindset was just to have a good time regardless if we landed a bunch of fish. I truly believe this company is really looking out for the customer’s best interest. And honestly it wasn’t the best day on the number of fish we caught, but it was by far a fabulous experience for my son and I. We hooked onto a sailfish early on, which got off the rig fairly quick. The “bait balls” were spread out a bit but the Capt did his best to find us some fish. We then caught two nice barracuda. The last part of our trip was a bit slow until a monster of a sailfish jumped on one of the lines and the Shimano Torium 20 HG started singing. Capt JP quickly got the line set and Milo patiently wore him down. 18 minutes later we had this beautiful sailfish in the boat for some quick pics and released it back to the ocean. It was a trip my son and I will remember forever and we owe a huge amount of gratitude to Capt JP and Eric for their perseverance in finding us the best spots to fish for our trip. Sailfish aren’t normally caught on these excursions from what I’ve been told and the fact we had two on (and possibly a third one missed) is an extreme rarity. I appreciated the fact we all agreed not to hook this fish and keep it for a meal or a trophy, but to simply enjoy the moment of catching such an amazing fish. Thank you both for a fantastic time!"
