"Food Lion always has the best prices in Southport. They have Nature's promise brand bread which is made without using hydrogenated oil, this is a very important thing for my family. Also the dairy products are always good they have organic valley and Stonyfield which are wonderful products. They even have the best prices on jars of beets made with sugar instead of corn syrup, specials and friendly people make it a regular place to shop. The only drawback is they don't have any gutters over the entrance because whoever put this building together just decided to take that shortcut. I guess that's how they can afford to give us food at a reasonable price. Don't forget to bring a towel:-)"

"Perfect location for grocery shopping before crossing the bridge to Oak Island. Consistent selection with other Food Lion stores. The produce section is always well stocked with fresh fruit and veggies. The wing bar is a 10 out of 10. Lots of prepared foods including 3 different salads. Every time I've been there, they have had multiple registers open plus the self checkout. All staff are cordial and helpful."
