"Not a skate shop, Parents come in with stuff sold to them at their store and ask me to fix it on the daily. They do nothing for the local skate community and impact local core shops in a negative way. Go to a skate shop for your set up. I guarantee they won't build you what I will. Now shut this off and go SK9..."
"Literally been closed the 3 times I’ve tried to shop there. Won’t be going back."
"I never catch her name but home girl with the fade and colored hair SHES THE AWESOME. Went in a few months ago to buy a board to build onto and I’ve been in several times since then and every time I go she’s always there to say “ what’s up dude” then she’s right on it"
"Went in with my girlfriend. One of the (girl?) workers went up to her and started talking about her style. Then looked at me while I was looking at skate wheels and asked my girlfriend “wtf is he doing?”. Didn’t know it was weird to look at wheels at a skate shop if you can even call it a skate shop anymore. Pretty weird to act like that around customers. It was a short purple haired girl. Didn’t catch her name because we left right after my girlfriend told me that. This is why you support your local skate shops. Go to daville. Don’t even waste your time going to zumiez it’s just a hot topic that tries to sell some boards anymore."
"I've recently heard about unsuspecting parents being upsold nonsense for their kid's new hobby, may be totally fine experience but could be unsafe based on what I've heard about employee recommendations. Generally think the local skate shop Daville is a better place to make sure the person selling cares about skating as much as the kid buying equipment."
