"I absolutely love this place. From pickled peppers to collard greens, ham hocks, and cheese. They have the best of everything as far as I’m concerned. Every Thanksgiving, Christmas, special occasion when the oysters are in season we have to get the stump sound. I’ve never know when this place isn’t busy so that should tell you something. Definitely expect southern hospitality. I hope this place stays open forever."

They both looked at me and clearly ignored me. I walked around for one minute and left. Not welcoming at all! I would never spend money there!"

"I cannot visit Wilmington or the Cape Fear area without stopping here for fruit preserves and a cone of ice cream. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Recently I drove through on Highway 421 and I bought great big tomatoes, Oatmeal Cream Cookie ice cream, and Carrot Cake Jam. I worked in Wilmington, NC and lived in Kure Beach, NC for 13 years.
