Cousins Italian Deli

"Did not understand all the TikTok rave. We were disappointed overall. As a date night for us, the atmosphere was lacking. Party of 14 was loud and was not suitable for such a small place. The starter lacked flavor and the bread was extremely hard. The salad was good but was basically greens. Pasta sauce did have flavor, but pasta seemed under cooked. The appetizers were okay, but again lacked flavor. The chicken had no color and was bland. The broccoli was over cooked. Desert was okay. As for service it could have been just our server, because one of the other servers that was coming around seemed a lot more pleasant. I really think they are trying to do too much to satisfy their new found fame base. Going from doing date nights to just filling tables. I wish my wife and I had been when they were not TikTok famous. I really feel like they need to go back to doing date nights, if only some."

"I’ve been to cousins deli once for dinner and twice for lunch. The food is very good and it’s a nice family style meal. Dinner is BYO which is rare in NC and much appreciated. For dinner, we all agreed that the eggplant rollatini was the best! The chicken they served us was not great. The salads, appetizers, and pasta were very good"

"The four of us went to Cousins Deli for their family style dinner on Friday night. Each dish brought out was more delicious than the last. Service was also 5 star and I would definitely recommend to anyone. I will be back again. ps. I have been here for lunch dozens of times and all the food is fresh and tasty."
