Food Lion

"Store is price gouging from other food lion less than 4 miles away check prices on jumbo eggs also doing as Walmart reling on self checkout instead of humans when other had 2 live and all 4 self opened step up sausbery coming"

"I cannot even give 1 star. While in there this past Sunday the store was full and cahiers open, only self checkout. They were lined up with people trying to pay for groceries. One little young fellow was standing at the front of the self checkout area scrolling with his iphone and laughing, smiling meanwhile there were customers trying to handle the self checkouts with some issues. The guy just tood there. I said can you assist some of us or at least the elderly here tryng to bag. Nope I had to call the manager who then told me that is not the guys job. He said he is a "Self Checkout ambassador" I said welll I would like a job like that, hang out at work and be on my phone. I asked why they could not call someone to open the registers or call for help. it was pointless. We do shop Food Lion often but now I will have to revisit that idea. You cannot teach customer service....or can you?"

"The employees here are always smiling. They seem to enjoy their job. I have never had a bad experience here. I'm always able to find what I need. The store is very clean. Prices are decent. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have self checkout, which I love. I rarely have to stand in line and if I do, it isn't a long wait at all."
