"A few days ago we had really windy weather here in the mountains and something must've struck my wife's windshield and cracked it. She had a crack that stretched almost half way across the windshield. We called State Farm and they gave us a few places to try, but my wife really wanted the windshield fixed as quickly as possible - especially since wintry weather was on the way. Tri-State gave her an appointment in just a few days. Unfortunately, her appointment was for today (1/15) and we were getting hammered with snow in the western counties. Asheville was getting cold rain and we were getting snow in Cherokee. In fact, after we'd made it to the shop, we started getting texts from family and friends showing the road conditions and the rapidly deteriorating weather. My wife spoke to somebody in the shop and showed her the video from our Ring doorbell camera and the young woman behind the counter was immediately concerned about us making it home safely and got the guys working in the shop to prioritize the replacement. They not only got us in and out in under about thirty minutes, but the job was done amazingly well with attention to detail Thanks to everyone at Tri-State for getting us in quickly and getting us home before the weather got much worse. Nobody likes to have to replace a windshield, but the folks at Tri-State will make it like it never happened!"
"Don’t Use This Company. Tri State Auto Glass has most likely been running a scam that has gone undetected for years selling rejected, defective windshields as new. The following is an update to the review of Tri State Auto Glass in North Carolina, my grandson posted for me on November 4th. To recap Tri State Auto glass installed a windshield on my vehicle that looked as if it had been sandblasted. There are thousands upon thousands of tiny pits in the glass from one side to another, from top to bottom. To make a long story short, Tri State, despite their warranty is doing nothing about it, and refuses to replace it with a defect free windshield. In response to my posting, the owner said he would look into it. But I haven’t heard back from him, and he hasn’t responded to the Better Business Bureau complaint or the complaint I filed with Consumer Protection Division of the North Carolina Attorney General’s office. Tri State Auto Glass positions itself as small, family owned business. They have a picture of a gentleman with white hair who looks like a kindhearted grandfather, who is identified as the owner of the company on their website. Along with this photo, their website proudly states that–"We’ve also kept a clear focus on our values: quality work, excellent service and taking care of people." Based on my experience nothing, and I mean nothing, could be further from the truth. It turns out that Tri State Auto Glass doesn’t care. Based on my experience they are a disreputable, dishonest company that doesn’t give a damn about their customers. They don’t care about all the grief they have caused me, they don’t care that this pitted windshield is a safety hazard and is endangering my life and the lives of other drivers. When the sun is low on the horizon in the early morning and late afternoon, the pitting glows like a cluster of stars and obliterates my vision. At night the pitting intensifies the blinding LED lights from oncoming vehicles. It’s as if the entire windshield lights up making it opaque instead of clear and transparent. Tri State Auto Glass probably has been getting away for years and years, selling defective, rejects as new first grade windshields and they know that all they have to do is nothing, and I will finally give up. Well I am not going to do that. I will see you in court Mr. & Mrs. Brock and I will keep after the North Carolina Attorney General’s office to investigate your company."
"This was recommended to me by my regular auto service business (prestige Subaru) and I’m happy I took their advice. TriState had great customer service and had me in and out quickly. I’d recommend it to anyone that needs a windshield repair."
"I think the guy was named Ricky he did and amazing job on replacement of my husband's mustang windshield. Very polite and helpful we will definitely use this business again. The guy deserves a raise in pay he is an asset to the business."
"Tri-state was able to come out and fix the previous installation of the windshield in my Volvo. The second install went much smoother than the first, and the windshield fits correctly now. The second crew would have been rated five stars from the start. The only reason it's four is because of how rough the initial install was. Thanks for making it right."
