"The worst haircut I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I am truly shocked at how bad it is, even for Great Clips. My husband just got home and his scalp is completely cut up and there are patchy spots all over his head. Too much hair was cut off in some spots and left too long in others. There’s not even enough left to try and get a professional to fix it. I don’t expect that much from ‘great’ clips and other salons like them, but a basic man’s haircut is one of the first things they teach you in school and they can’t even do that right. It seems no one that works there knows how to cut hair. Whoever does the hiring really needs to vet the ‘stylists’ better, if that’s what you even want to call them. That’s the absolute last time he will ever go to that place or any of the great clips."

"The absolute worst haircut I've ever gotten. Angry, man hating women that hate their job. I don't know if it's a common theme with Newport itself, but it was just a horrible experience. They treat you like the bad dog that got into the garbage by giving you a garbage haircut. After that, you pay them for your trash haircut and then spend another 30 dollars to have a real barber fix it. Going to that place was a last resort and I paid dearly for it. I realize it's just hair and it grows back for some of us, but it still sucks when you drop 25 dollars on a five minute, five dollar haircut. If you don't know what a good haircut looks like or you're simply too aloof to care then this place is for you. I do apologize for the bad review, but this place straight up sucks though and I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Took all three of my kids in to get their haircut. There were two ladies there, cuz one took a break while there was an hour wait, and the older lady did two of my kids hair and she did GREAT...but the red headed lady did a fade (if u call it that) on my son and it was awful. He has long and short spots all over his head. If I didn't have my 3yr old with me and could have really looked at his hair before i left I definitely wouldn't have paid, let alone tip. I wish I could post pics!"
