"Very shady place. I tried calling to make an appointment, phone was left ringing until it went to voicemail. I went in person to make an appointment. It was not busy. I was told that they take kids Tenncare but not adult Tenncare and that they are rejecting me as a patient because I have Tenncare. I told them I would just pay for it out of pocket and they said they would get investigated by the state if they did that. Maybe that wouldn’t be a bad thing. Seems super shady to me. I appreciate the slightly passive aggressive response to me from the business but there was no misunderstanding on my part."

"Went to DR. Steven Smith after breaking my front tooth. My wife and I had a 2 week trip to Europe coming up in just 12 days .Somehow I was scheduled within 4 days and had work done on the root as well as a new perfectly matched tooth added and fitted to my partial plate in another 3 days. Everything works and we leave in 5 days . I would leave 6 stars if possible. Thank you dr Smith."

"This is my last visit at this dentistry. We had an appointment scheduled for noon and they changed it to 11am without our knowledge. When we got the reminder text, we gave them a call and the woman my husband spoke with talked down to him and said they have never scheduled noon appointments even though we had a card that stated our appointment time was noon. Nonetheless, we show up at 11 today. We have been to this dentistry 3 times. My daughter is 4 and has severe anxiety surrounding dentists. We were not aware of the no parents policy until our first appointment (though it wasn't an issue at that time) and that was the only appointment my daughter was excited to go back for. The second appointment, she went back and immediately came back out ALONE. Something is not right here. My daughter is not scared without reason. The staff is rude and borderline condescending. Please do not work with children if you do not understand children."

"This used to be a great place to go. They have steadily went down hill the past year. Some of the rudest most unprofessional office staff you will deal with. I've been going here for ten years to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. After waiting two months for an appointment for them to say they never scheduled it and rudely arguing with me that they don't accept tenncare ( which I don't have) and numerous other incidents that I've tried to over look. I've decided to find another dentist. With that being said. Hometown dentist in Jefferson City is amazing!!"
