Food Lion

"I have never had an experience with a rude employee at any Food Lion I have ever shopped. That all changed today. Came in to pick up a couple of items before work and looked for an open register. It looked like one was open (light on) but noone was there. So, I went looking for maybe a self checkout; none to be found but I did see three employees all down at one register with no light on. So I went back to the light on register and put my things down. Saw an employee saunter over and proceed to place items on shelves while looking at me. She finally came over all frowny faced and never said a word to me... like she was annoyed I was there. She finally asked if I had a rewards card and I said yes. Should I put my number in or did she have to do it? (Some of the places where I shop prefer to put the numbers in). She grumpily said "Isn't it asking for it right there in front of you on the screen?" So I put it in and she handed me my bag and said "Have a LOVELY day." (I know sarcasm when I hear it). I sincerely said, "The same. I hope your day gets better." She loudly said, "There's nothing wrong with my day." I then had to say, "Nothing but your attitude." Honestly.... what the heck? I didn't know her from anywhere, hadn't asked for anything.. was just waiting to check out! I've never experienced anything like this and it was on a day which was upsetting enough as we'd just had a tragedy occur at work and I was just trying to provide some coffee and snacks. Won't make the mistake of stopping here again if I need something."

"This is my go-to for groceries. Prices are great for 2023 pricing & the facility is clean and easy to navigate, and usually not very busy. The staff here are also kind. My cashier today was a younger girl named Regina and she was super helpful and kind, she even reccommended the Food Lion app to help with saving money!! I'm originally from Missouri and I wish we had a food lion back home!"

"A childhood store that my family shopped at and still does so when I'm visiting I shop here for the things I can't get in Georgia. The prices are a bit higher than what I pay in Georgia but not by much but that's how it is when there isn't a lot of competition. I love the produce here I brought some of the sweetest white grapes I never had, and they were nice and firm, not mushy . Still a family favorite.."
