Food Lion

"Food Lion on springs road is a great store. What makes it a great store are the people working there. So very friendly and helpful. However there is one cashier on morning shift that doesn’t really fit in with the others because of her attitude. I first noticed she didn’t say hello to the elderly woman in front of me. I don’t think she ever really spoke to her. You should speak to the elderly. Then when I came up she smarted off about how I need to bring my buggy up to where she can reach to scan two water jugs and a case of coke. All the other cashiers will scan the items on the belt first which is just common sense and by that time my buggy will be up to where she can reach it. She doesn’t need to smart off about it. When I have large heavy items in my buggy I try to help the cashiers by leaving these items in the buggy with the bar code facing them so the can reach it and not have to handle them. I have picked up a hint of attitude from this woman before. Her name is Linda. She had reddish dyed hair. Thank you for reading my review. Again , great store!"

"Always a great experience they always have that little cell area and The Butchers will help you and the store is always clean I'd rather go to Food Lion other than that blue place"

"This location is ok. Not my favorite food lion location but I come here because it's convenient. I don't blame the employees here, but blame management for their managing of the store. They're doing what they can and being as polite as they can be. I've even seen an employee who was off the clock waiting in line to check out her items turn on a register just to help out the customers check out and reduce their wait time. The check out service is terrible because they're understaffed alot of the times if not almost all the time. The inventory here is good. But just not their check out service. They hardly have enough registers open. Or employees. I usually avoid this place because I spend more time waiting to be checked out than I do shopping. If you do come here, have patience or avoid their busy hours such as around lunch time on the weekend and the hour right after 5pm rush."
