"This place needs a more engaging way to deliver the menu because it’s not obvious they are going to deliver some food magic when you order here. The spicy tuna sushi plate was sitting in the display like grocery store sushi and it was delicious. I’ll ask for extra wasabi next time but still my favorite sushi I’ve had in a while. I also got a Quesabirria, a beef taco thing with rich shredded beef filling and very juicy. Wow. So good. Under 20 bucks with tip. Came back and tried the chicken karage and the ramen. Everything is good here. Fancy food without the fancy atmosphere or the fancy price. I’m a big fan."
"We enjoyed a birthday celebration with friends and the food was amazing. The drinks were also fun and unique. When they are busy, you may have to remind the staff for water. The service was great and the servers were very patient with our large group. Highly recommend sitting down to enjoy a meal at Yatai."
"Excellent! If you're considering checking out the Transfer Co Food Hall, give this place a go! Atmosphere is dope. Quieter than the rest of the hall. Clean and accommodating. Staff is very helpful and pleasing to talk to. Shout out the hostess that helped us out!! My wife and I got the (regular) Ramen and Birria Ramen. Portion size for each could serve two. I opted for extra noodle (must do). It is a tad pricey. $17 per bowl and extra noodle cost an extra $4. I wish there was a bit more spice in the Ramen bowl. All in all, this is a must have. Especially on a cold rainy day. Cheers!"
"I frequent The Transfer Co. Food Hall often, and have been waiting for Yatai Market to open for a few months. It has been worth the wait! From the decor, which recognizes another wonderful restaurant they are partnered with, to the friendly staff and delicious offerings, it is a wonderful option for great sushi in a casual setting. For sushi I ordered a Tuna hand roll, cucumber roll, and nigiri of Tuna, Sea Trout, and Yellowtail. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a seaweed salad and Ramune. I look forward to returning soon!"
