"I'm being generous with a two star review and only because half the staff was friendly. I've gone to this store many times over the years, as it's a popular spot on my way to the beach. Usually they have good food, good hospitality, and decent prices. However this time we encountered a couple issues. My wife got six pieces of different flavored fudge to try for $28. Seems a bit steep even for a tourist town. However each piece was worse than the last. It was rock hard. Had a strong sour taste to it. And we had to double check we didn't accidentally buy soap that looked like fudge instead of actual fudge. As we continued looking through the store we noticed ants inside the packaged candy. Of course we were concerned with the fudge we just bought, and hadn't tried yet, but we were met with condescending attitude and they seemed like it was our fault for notifying them of the ants. We informed the rest of the staff about the ants including the fudge cashier and no one mentioned anything about the fudge being a problem even though they were horrified by the ants. Granted after we tried the fudge maybe the ants had some standards. Either way we won't be back."

"We absolutely loved this country store that has EVERYTHING! Fireworks, delicious ice cream, my hubby got coconut, bar be cue, unreal onion rings, and other food! the largest selection of all kinds of Pecans, anyway you want to want them. Covered in white, dark or milk chocolate, honey crusted, salted, unsalted..just ask and ye shall receive. They have other unique items as well, such as Elderberry jam, etc. Hermit crabs and the cages, food, everything to maintain them. Definitely stop by there on your way to or from Myrtle Beach. They were open today. MlK holiday. We met the sweetest lady outside with her dog Daisy, who would not take off her apron!! Friendly folk everywhere. This place is a must go and see and get yourself a unique souvenir! They have anything you can ti k of!"

"Love so much about this place. Make it a stop. Like the old road side attractions of days gone by its great to walk around see everything and a perfect place to fill up, drop off and pick up. They even had real food and any candy you were craving, I wish the prices were a bit lower but they were not bad"

"Saw the signs and drove past the place. Reminded me of the "South of the Border" trinket shop. Did not stop, but got to see the colorful bill boards."

"Tourist trap. They have some cool stuff in here. Lots to look at. Food, drink, candy, clothes, etc. we stop here almost every time we come through. Plenty of parking. Safe place. Bathrooms are kinda clean."
