About Us
La Chalupa is a family-friendly Mexican restaurant located at 775 Lancaster Bypass East in Lancaster, South Carolina. Since 1996, we have been serving delicious Mexican cuisine to the Lancaster community. Our menu includes appetizers, combination dinners, fajitas, nachos, vegetarian options, and a lunch menu. We also have a full-service bar with daily margarita specials.
Our restaurant features a new private dining room that can accommodate up to 100 guests, perfect for private parties or events. We also offer a Mexican buffet with American cuisine options for lunch and dinner, as well as a lunch buffet seven days a week and a dinner buffet on Sundays.
At La Chalupa, we pride ourselves on providing fresh, delicious, and high-quality food and beverages. Our staff is welcoming and friendly, making sure that every guest has a great dining experience. We are open from 11AM-10PM Sunday through Thursday, and 11AM-10:30PM on Friday and Saturday. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

"We haven't been here in a while but came for a Christmas dinner and been back a handful of times since. The food is great and the top shelf margaritas are really good. The wait staff are always very nice and attentive. This is definitely a new spot to dine. We had a big crowd for our Christmas diner and they were pretty crowded. The service and food was top notch with all they had going on. All food was served the same time and the staff met our needs. It made for a wonderful event. Thank you!!"

"Super cute resturant current celebrating 25 years. We were greates promptly and seated when we got there at 430. Came here for the buffet. Food was warm and countertop consistently cleaned. Waiter was very helpful. We paid $33 for two people for the buffet. You can also order from a menu if you prefer. It was worth the drive. Also, bathrooms were spotless and huge. I was impressed with the constant cleaning of the place as well."
"I really enjoyed this place, the food was really good and it's a taco baffet. I got my money's worth, everything was coming out being replenished so alot of fresh food on the buffet. Service was excellent, establishment clean and it was a great lunch that I feel that i got my money's worth. I definitely will eat here again. No issues and very friendly. Highly recommend."
