"This hidden bookstore is definitely a spot you should check out! It doesn’t seem like much for the outside but inside they have tons of books of different genres. I have found a few books here that I enjoyed and think it’s worth a look."

"The Book Lady is, in my opinion, the best used bookstore in Monroe, NC, and likely in the Charlotte area. There is a very large selection of children’s books, fiction, and history. If you are interested in books around religion, you should also be happy. Prices are better than 2nd & Charles, and in my experience, better than the other used bookstores in the area."

"I was paying and I still owed a dollar. I was looking for change. My wallet laid on the counter. The older gentleman clerk in suspenders saw the top of the dollar and pulled it out of my wallet. He had no right to do that. Second encounter with this idiot. I love Carol but this idiot is a detriment to her business!"
