"While I was viewing items near the front of the store, a man in front of me was at the register who appeared to be of Hispanic or Latino descent. The woman (maybe mid 40s) behind the counter told him his total and and then said "or 1,500 pesos's to you". I almost fell over. It was so incredibly inappropriate for anyone to say, let alone a store employee to say loudly for all to hear. She smirked like it was funny and clever of her to be so blatantly racist (with multiple customers in earshot). I will NEVER go to this Dollar General or any others again. You have lost my business."
"Me, my daughter and granddaughter go into this store to pick up some bread. We get the item and was walking and looking. Less than 2 minutes in the store a man comes up to us and says "I know why you are here. You are penny shopping." ( We had to google what a penny shopper was) This man Is Ellando, the store manger and has a nasty attitude and talks to customers very poorly. He proceeds to go on telling us how he will not tolerate his store being trashed. He then goes on to talk about calling the police on a man. He says items in the store are his even if they are in the shopping cart until they are paid for. (I don't thin they are his but property of Dollar General) He said he can refuse any sale in his store. I just look at my daughter and we proceed in through the store looking. He then stopped us again complaining about the same issue. And customers not having respect. I have only been in this store one other time and this was my last. You don't know anything about me so don't stereotype me or my family."
