Waffle House

"This Waffle House is the place to be in Hendersonville After Hours!!! Great friendly service, a couple dancing to the music, patrons talking and enjoying each other's company - like a sober nightclub with lots of fellowship, dancing, socializing, and just the best food. Wow! And available 24 hours. Hog heaven. -:) Had a chicken bacon sandwich and a super-delicious pecan waffle - which set me up perfectly for a good night's rest and a hike to a 6000 foot peak the next day. This Waffle House is essential to the Western North Carolina mountains experience. This is true civilization unavailable in Yankee land where I normally live - though I am a native Ashevilian, born and raised here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

"We had a wonderful visit. They were completely slammed but were overly nice and very attentive to all of our needs. My cuppa coffee was never empty and our server was never without a smile."

"The only thing that was right on my order was the toast. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese. They came without cheese. I asked for hash browns steamed. They were not steamed. I asked for bacon and it came burnt. I fed it to my dogs cause I couldn't eat it burnt. But the toast was good. My waitress was great and I tipped her well too. But what a waste of money on food. I spent $25 on breakfast for my mom and me and it wasn't worth $5. I am extremely disappointed!"

"At first I thought we were invisible. Then we moved to a booth and the lady came over and cleaned the table, came back took our order and had our food in a decent amount of time but the waffle and toast were very overcooked. Hard. Nice lady but not very friendly."

"Don't recommend. This waffle house has gone down hill. Came in at 2am after the haunted farm. I understand waitresses are tired but don't be hateful this is your profession you choose. We got 3 all stars and a Texas cheese melt. My bacon was burned she hands it to me then says he is making another and she'll bring it out to me........ I got nothing. My friends Texas melt had black burnt bacon AND the toast on one side. I asked for crispy hasbroens they came back almost cold and soggy no crisp. I didn't get one refill on my drink mind you we walked in there was 3 empty tables and people waiting for them to be cleaned off. We waited 45 minutes there was 2 servers one cook. They had half the restaurant closed off and three servers kept stopping at the doorwat to the back stand there talking ours went out side 5 times during the course of us waiting on our food not counting waiting for a table."
