"We just used these guys for the second time. A few years ago, a tree fell on our house and crushed our handmade barn wood table. I was in the Asheville area soon after and saw their showroom. I fell in love with a dining table there! It is called the Macedonia table. We commissioned one and it was even more exquisite than I had recalled. I had loved that old barn wood table, though. We had so many wonderful memories of gatherings around it. Mike and his crew came for the top of the table and managed to craft a sideboard using that old wood! The top of this gorgeous piece is the tabletop, complete with knots and scars, which gives it such character and nostalgia. The rest of the piece is modern, with the most amazing carving on the front. The piece is hefty, yet light and modern in appearance. It turns out that the table had been made of Hemlock, no longer readily available. They did a perfect job of matching the different woods. It does not look like two different woods. These people are true artists and their medium is wood. I believe their pricing is very fair, especially for such heirloom furniture. And you will never meet such nice people. So easy to work with, great communication. They kept me posted every step of the way and were very flexible about delivery, when we had to move out of our house for mold remediation for a few months. I can't say enough about them. What a find!"

We started off thinking we wanted a walnut table, but when Mike found some beautiful spalted maple slabs for us we knew that was the look that we wanted. "My husband and I came across 3 Oak’s store in Brevard one day, we met Mike and am so glad we did. We commissioned 3 Oak Handcrafted to make us a LARGE dresser and night stands for our bedroom and are so happy with the results. We met with MIke to go over wood types and measurements, took home wood samples to see how they looked in the room and finalized the plans.
