"Love rackroom! They always are helpful and have good prices!"
"I wish 0 stars was an option. I have never in my life been treated so poorly at a store. I went into Rack Room in Arden to purchase my two year old some new shoes. I didn’t pay attention to the signs so as I was getting rung up I asked the original helping associate if the crocs were on BOGO which he replied yes, they were. My total was a little high so after going to the truck I came back in just to go over my receipt and make sure I didn’t miss anything. When I entered I was greeted by a different associate who explained they were not BOGO. During his explanation the store manager (Ashlyn or something similar) walked up. You could tell she was absolutely high on something. She put her hand up to the other employee and said she would handle it. She instantly had a horrible demeanor and defensiveness about her that hit me wrong. I told her I was just trying to confirm the situation and the attitude wasn’t appreciated. My partner ran back and checked and I guess the signs were in the incorrect place but they did indeed say it was BOGO. At this point- I didn’t even care about the money or mistake in the signage part. It was the fact that the so called “store manager” was being so rude. My fuse was instantly lit because I was being nothing but kind and I stated that she didn’t need the attitude. I was just asking a question and trying to understand. The situation escalated quickly and I asked for the upper management information and she repeatedly told me that she wasn’t required to give me that. I asked over and over and kept getting the answer that there was “no one above her” that could be contacted. She continued to rant that I was a “entitled customer” and I asked the other employee and he/she said there was also no one that could be contacted and she was his direct manager as he/she continued laughing at me so he was standing by her decision. She continued being rude and started mocking me (repeating what I said in a sarcastic voice and making fun of my high pitch voice) as I was getting irritated that I wasn’t being giving the information I was asking for. She started talking loudly that I was the problem and all the other customers agreed when that isn’t what happened at all. I have never in my life complained about a store employee. I understand we all have bad days but this manager went from a 0-100 and it is completely unacceptable not to mention being under the influence while on the job. Her eyes were blood shot, her pupils were dilated and her responses were delayed. I work closely with addicts daily and I know exactly what I saw with her. She finally told me there was a 1-800 number I could call and when I asked her if she could write it down for me, she told me to get out of her store. I asked her if the cops needed to be called to obtain the information I was asking for and she kept telling me to get out of her “fucking” store. I wanted to then return my items because I do not feel right spending that kind of money on toddler shoes with a company that treats their customers like this. I am not saying my words were 100% respectful but her job is to deescalate the situation and instead she antagonized me, humiliated me, and mocked me in a way that was technically harassment. Rack Room needs to really look into the quality of people they hire."
"Decent selection, nice staff and clean store. Prices are typical of the shoe industry. No real deals but no price gouging either."
"False information. Store hours were not what was stated online drove a hour just to find out they closed early"
"They are possibly selling knock-offs. I've purchased 4 pairs of shoes from them over the last year. 3 of the pairs (Columbia, Nike Monarch, and Adidas) started to fall apart after only 2-3 months. Tears in the fabric, glue coming undone. I am indoors most of the time and hardly use them for heavy outdoor activities. These brands do NOT fall apart and typically have lifespans of years. I purchased the exact same pair of Adidas from Amazon and am not having any issues with the Amazon pair. Something is not right with the brands at Rack Room."
