Rack Room Shoes

"I’m very disappointed in this stores level of customer service (or rather lack there of). I purchased a pair of lined crocks for my father as a Christmas gift. They were the wrong size. I returned to the store with the unworn shoes, in the original shoe box, all the stickers and connecting plastic still on the shoes to exchange the pair for the correct size. There was a young kid behind the counter who looked incredibly unprofessional, wearing baggy clothing, with long dyed hair who identified himself as the manager who expressed the shoes could not be exchanged. His reasoning was due to a small smudge on the bottom of the shoe that could have been wiped away with my sleeve from where the shoe had been tried on. I asked the employee if I couldn’t simply wipe it away, and commented that I could literally wipe it away with my sleeve. Employee was not satisfied with this solution. This individual then stated I would have to look the number up online when I asked for a number to contact corporate. When I commented that the store manager didn’t have a contact number for his corporate office he looked behind the counter and read the number off to me. He proceeded to tell me the corporate office was closed due to it being New Year’s Eve. The corporate office was not closed and advised that I could send in a photo of the shoes to override the decision the store had made. When I called back to get the email address to send the photo to, someone else answered and stated there was nothing they could do, that it was up to the store to make the decision. I will never waste my time or money purchasing from this company again. And suggest never purchasing anything from them as a gift as if you get the wrong size the person will not be able to exchange the shoes for the correct size, leaving you out the money you paid."

"Never buy from this store, I got a pair of Crocks for Christmas and tried them on and they didn't fit, put them back in the box. Took them back and they refused to exchange them. They suck."

I find that part very rude and unprofessional. BUT.... the lady at the store was very helpful. She found the shoes at the other store in town! She was very nice."
