"I have to say it is sad when a previous employee gets on Google Review and tells lies about a business to try and hurt that establishment because they are a disgruntled employee. The Hot Spot employees work extremely hard to make sure the customers get fresh hot food and get in and out of the store in a timely matter. They go out of their way to try and make customers happy. If you buy food and you live 30 minutes or more away from the store then evidently it’s not going to be as hot and fresh as when you first purchased it, that isn’t the stores nor the employees fault. The store is clean and well stocked and the prices are reasonable for a convenience store. And if you have an issue the Hot Spot is more then willing to address the situation and take appropriate measures to correct it."

"The store is new and nice. The takeout food I would not recommend at all. The pricing is ridiculously high for frozen soy burgers, for example 8.50 for a plain cheeseburger and 5.00 extra to add a side of potato wedges is ludicrous. The staff seems to be half aware of how any of it works and make sure you check your order before you go because even at those inflated prices you still are going to most likely have something missing or old. ."

"This convenient store has been a great addition to small town Hayesville,NC. Being the ONLY 24 hour store/gas station here. It is well lit at night and has great prices on pretty much everything. They have awesome hot food there that is cooked to order and also very reasonably priced. They also recommend signing up for their point system where I save money on gas,cigarettes and more. I totally recommend this place!!!"
