"We have come several times and typically get the filet minion however this time we chose to get the hibachi steak which is slightly cheaper. The grill had a slight issue with that has pressure and the meat wasn’t cooked perfectly. I didn’t complain because things happen, however the chef went out of his way to make me another full serving in the back and bring it out to me. This type of service deserves to be reward with brand loyalty. The owner shared with us how his staff are exceptional employees. Thanks for going above and beyond with your service!"

"We took a chance of not making a reservation... wrong.. make a reservation. Wait was about an hour. We posted up at the bar and had a few sushi rolls and drinks. Spacious waiting area and staff helpful. Who doesn't like watching their food being cooked in front of them.. everything was fresh and tasty. The cook was funny and entertaining. Wait staff are always checking in and prompt. Decent atmosphere but the building is dated and could use a makeover. Great night with the wife and kids. I would recommend."

"Our son is getting braces tomorrow so we let him choose a special dinner. His favorite is Japanese Steak House and we have never found a great one in Charlotte until tonight..our boys said all of the following “mom and dad- when can we come back again? This is the best place we’ve ever been! Can you give this place a 10 star review” when I told him 5 star is the best we can do on google- he said “well can you give them two- 5 star reviews”. Everything from the service, the experience and the food was excellent and is our new favorite restaurant in the Lake Norman area! The entire staff and owner go over and beyond and it’s no surprise they have raving fans with our family!"

"So glad to see a good Japanese Steakhouse return to the lake. We had a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. They only had three chefs working a full house but they were doing a great job. Food was fantastic. New Owners are super nice. Highly recommend."
