Shukkranaa Indian Cuisine

"First time ever eating Indian food. I had no idea where to go or what to eat. A friend recommended Shukkra aa. The owner, Gurmit, was very helpful. She understood our food concerns (spicy vs. non-spicy) and guided us through the menu. She answered our questions, explained the dishes, and made recommendations based on our picky tastes. We got a generous portion of food and it was delicious. Try the mango lassi! We will be back to try other dishes."

"One of the best experiences having authentic Indian food! Food was fresh and delicious and service was a TEN! I had the Malai Kofta for the first time and the croquettes were so fluffy and full of flavor. We also had the vegetable pakora which was so light and crispy with flavorful seasonings."

"This was our first time trying this restaurant. The owner is very nice and talkative. We asked the chef to make us what he is good at and he recommended Pakistan style chicken karahi along with cashew curry. The karahi was hands down the best we have had anywhere in NC. I will only mention one thing and that is the tomatoes not fully cooked which doesn’t make taste any different just texture. The cashew curry was not our taste but it was good. The karahi is not on the menu so you have to request it when ordering. You won’t be disappointed. Halal and highly recommended."
