Hillman Beer Old Fort

"I was here couple years ago and then stopped in again today. In a cute location, on this little creek. GREAT beer - got a saison and the old fort lager. This time we got pretzels with cheese and mustard and plate of fries to share. The pretzels are fantastic and plenty of cheese and mustard. Super friendly waitstaff. Brought my dog both times and they offered him treats and fresh water bowl. Definitely will keep coming here when I’m in the area!"

"So, you wouldn't think it would make sense to drive to a dry county to have a beer, but Hillman's really changes that perspective. This place has a huge variety of their proprietary beer, and all of it was good. I strongly suggest a flight so you can sample a variety of their wares - all really good. Food is excellent as well. Bread pudding alone is worth the drive."

"This place came highly recommended, and I can see why. 40 minute drive from my house, and it was worth the trip! The food was fresh, made to order, and flavorful. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was recommended to me, and it was excellent! The burger was fresh, hand made, and soft - good! House chips were great, made just right. The view was great, nice day, right on a stream. It was 83 degrees outside, place was completely open and had fans going, and was comfortable. The atmosphere was great, good experience. I will plan to come here again next time I’m coming through this area. Highly recommend!"
