"My son was visiting Asheville when his car died. We were pretty sure it was an alternator issue and had it taken here. Andrew was awesome! He diagnosed the issue called me and explained all that needed to be done very clearly and in terms I could understand. He answered all my questions and they fixed the car for us. I appreciate the fact that they did not take advantage of the fact we were out of town and my so was on his own. Great service and I would highly recommend them."
"I've been going to AAA for all of my oil changes, inspections, and service needs for six years now, and I have consistently felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared for by everyone there. Whenever I have had an issue or a concern, the guys at AAA have gone above and beyond to make it right and to ensure that I have a safe vehicle to drive. I am grateful to have a kind, reliable, highly skilled team to turn to. Definitely recommend!"
"I have never written a google review but decided that the extreme negligence of AAA of Asheville needs to be publicized. That is how bad AAA of Asheville is. I took my truck to this shop on Nov. 23 and told them I thought there was an issue with the motor, that the night before my motor had been smoking from under my hood, and I checked the oil and there was none. The manager Andrew called me 2 days later to tell me there was nothing wrong with the motor, no oil leak, and that it would be $2,000 to fix my power steering system. I paid them the $2,000 and picked my truck up that afternoon. On Monday Nov. 27, three days later, my motor blew up while I was driving on a busy 4 lane road -- left me stranded in the middle of traffic. Shop then had my truck for 8 weeks to install a rebuilt motor. Paid a $4,000 deposit first week of Dec. Told me it would be done by Christmas, then New Years. Would not communicate with me. I had to keep calling for ETA. They took the week between Christmas and New Year off. No communication -- I found out when i called and was told that Andrew and the technician working on my truck had decided to take the week off. Then they promised me the truck would be ready by Friday Jan. 12. No communication. I had to call them. Nope not ready. New ETA: Tuesday Jan. 16. Nope, no communication. I had to call them. New ETA: Wed Jan. 17. Finally picked up my truck yesterday, Jan. 17. Paid $4,836.27. Then they take me to my truck which is running, idling, key in the ignition, in the middle of a public parking lot with no one attending it. Got in, drove it home. When I got home, I noticed, the driver side door lock is busted. They key in the ignition was not the original key I had given them. It was a new key. Today found out they "lost" my key. They had a new key made without my permission. When Andrew the location manager told me they had made a duplicate of my key, without first asking me, he had the audacity to say, "But you were'n't charged for it." When I asked to speak to his manager after that, Andrew refused to let me talk to his manager. First he told me he knew nothing about the situation. Then he told me he is the one who authorized the new key to be made. When I demanded to speak to his manager, he told me he he was not going to give me his manager's number. Spent almost $11,000.00 with this shop for them to deliver a DAMAGED VEHICLE to me TWICE. Do not use these scam artists. These people are unethical and dishonest. Worst shop I have ever been to. My dad was a mechanic and he never treated anyone like this. AAA Asheville should be ashamed. Avoid AAA in Asheville at all costs."
"Great people offering great car care. The guys here are super genuine and have helped me out with many issues from oil changes to new batteries, new tires, inspections and more. I will continue to come here whenever I need. Thanks for the great car care!"
"I am a big fan of AAA. We ve had several different cars serviced here over the past 7 years and we ve always been satisfied. Most recently we took a teardrop trailer tire in to be replaced because it was worn only on the inside part. The tech correctly diagnosed the problem as it was slightly canted toward the inside causing the tire to wear unevenly. The tire was ordered and ready the next day - a member disc was given and we were happy to pay a total of just $113. 00. If you are searching for a mechanic I highly recommend AAA. We haven’t used their travel services so I can’t comment on that aspect."
