"Our first visit last night! Allie was our server and wow! What and experience ! Ordered the Hawaiian chicken and wife got the burger followed by the pecan pie. Everything was delicious but Allie also made the experience extra good by explaining the history of the restaurant and recommending various menu options. We will definitely return can’t wait. Cozy atmosphere, was nice and warm and clean. We eat out a lot and appreciate this great experience."

"Really wonderful food, meal and service at Mecca! Was looking for Carolina BBQ and with other options not open on Tuesday came to Mecca. Was welcomed by Raven at the door, and her exceptional service continued throughout the meal. She took great care of us. Good menu with lots of options, as well as some all day breakfast. Had the Carolina BBQ plate and it was delicious. BBQ sandwich was also yummy. Sides were flavourful. Will eat here again next time I’m in town. Great discovery."

"My family and I found this place back in march because I liked the outside. We found out quickly the food was delicious, and the service was even better. We left happy, full and wanting to come back next time we were in Raleigh. The other day we came back and once again Mecca didn’t disappoint. The mimosas were strong, the chicken was juicy and the hush puppies were perfect! We had another server this time & she was amazing. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she was great. When I think of southern hospitality I think of my experience here. We will be back for sure!"

"My husband and I are here for the weekend. We are originally from Texas. We look this place up and absolutely did not disappoint! Food was phenomenal!! Service was amazing! Loved being able to sit outside in the nice weather! Will definitely come back when we are here next!! *husband said he recommends the fried chicken"
