"Fast and friendly service! I got the chipotle BBQ sandwich. Just the right amount of spice and seasonings. The baked bean had brisket bits in them - tasty."

"I don't even post on these websites, but the service was so horrible that I honestly have no order choice. I preordered my food 30 minutes in advance. I arrived and they were out of wings. They asked which meat I would like instead and I said ribs. I was still there an additional 10 minutes just waiting. I approached the manager and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She said yeah we have to cook the food. My comment was so you cook every set of ribs to order. Her comment was yes. I stated ribs take hours to cook so there's no reason why I should've had to wait an additional 10 minutes for them to put ribs in my bag. additionally, she made a statement about me having to wait in line and I replied I ordered my food 30 minutes ago. A man had my packed my ribs in a box to go, and she had him take some of the ribs out of the box. That's how spiteful, and ugly this manager was. I ordered peach cobbler and when I tell you, it is like a rock hard and stone that is exactly what it is, I ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon that was screwed up. There was no bacon."

"It's a good bbq place. You can watch them chop the meat and they give perfect portions for me at least. Meats were cooked well juicey and taste good with or without sauce. French fries are good. Everything was hot. The only gripe was the small area to fill drinks and gather sauces napkins what not. That had a bigger line thing the ordering."

"This is the worst food I've ever gotten at City BBQ. I will not be returning to this location. The brisket was so dry I could not eat it. I literally wasted $50 here just to go get food somewhere else! I have never had this issue at the Garner location. The person who took our order was great when he wasn't being yelled at by the lady in the red shirt with dread locks. And then the dread locks lady was rude to us when she gave us our food I think it was bc of the way we looked at her while she was yelling at the other dude... 0/10 would not recommend!"

"We haven't been to City BBQ in years because we didn't have a great experience. We recently went to a wedding where City catered and it was so good we decided to give them another chance. It did not disappoint. We got the Judge's sampler, and it was more than enough for two people. Not a huge fan of the chicken, but everything else was great. We will definitely be back. Hopefully, our location will be the same as this one."
