"We called in our pizza takeout, the service is excellent very accommodating. The Friday special is excellent. The pizza was Very Good. Atmosphere rating doesn’t matter since we did take out, it’s not a place you think about atmosphere because you’re not dining there. The crust of the pizza was really good. All in all great value and if you’re looking for a legit NY pizza this is as good as it’s going to get for Cary."
"Food is excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful. But the venue is a bit in need of TLC. I’ve had a roach fall out of the ceiling while dining in twice in one visit. So I just order to go now and don’t get toppings so I can see if there is a bug. This place would be amazing if they were in a different space."
"Amazing pizza!! I have been ordering from Primo Pizza ever since they opened in Clayton. The pizzas are delicious and are prepared NY style. I typically get pepperoni but this evening we got the New Yorker and it did not disappoint!! The fresh green peppers and sliced onions adds so much flavor. This is now a favorite in my home. Primo also always provide great service!"
"Ordered on the slice app, went to pick up pizzas 45 mins later (15 mins after app said they were done). Was told they needed another 20 mins -- they hadn't even started the order. Pizzas came out looking a mess, more crust than pizza. Not worth $30. Primo used to be good, definitely do not recommend now. Sanitation score 88. Probably should be lower, it's gross inside."
"Wow, was it good piping hot pizza! The dough is amazing, the sauce has great flavor, and the cheese is just right. Primo Pizza is my favorite pizza place in the Clayton area and even beats other Raleigh pizza joints, in my opinion. To top it off, the customer service is great and they will actually talk to you with a smile, which can be hard to find these days. I definitely recommend eating in for the freshest of pizza that is just absolutely on point. It's a little cramped inside and could use a little sprucing up inside, but it doesn't upset me enough to knock a star off."
