"Overall Rating: 5.9/10 This spot shines when it comes to traditional, authentic Chinese cuisine, but it doesn't hit the mark with American Chinese favorites. Service / Atmosphere: 6.5/10 The staff are welcoming and show genuine care, contributing to the clean and well-maintained interior. Food: House Fried Rice: 5.9/10 A standout authentic dish with a perfect balance of ingredients, all cooked just right. General Tso Chicken: 4.9/10 Falls into the category of very average. While the chicken itself is of good quality, it lacked the expected crispiness, and the sauce was too sweet without any hint of spice. Crab Rangoon: 4.2/10 Tasty filling, but the wonton shell was unusually hard, giving the impression it was stale rather than crisp. Wonton Spicy Chili Sauce: 6.1/10 The wontons were delicious, especially with the flavorful sauce they were served in, making this dish a highlight. Beef Lo Mein: 5.5/10 An okay version of lo mein, made slightly unusual with the addition of orange peppers that added unexpected sweetness. The beef was somewhat bland but overall acceptable. Value: 5.5/10 Spending $80 before tip for a group of four, including appetizers, felt reasonable. However, the option for combo plates would greatly improve the ability to sample a broader range of the menu without committing to full-sized dishes."
"I grew up with parents who owned a Chinese restaurant in Durham, NC; so I know a thing or 2 about good Chinese food! I discovered this restaurant on Instagram and wanted to surprise dad with a new restaurant, but he has already been to this establishment before. Y’all, when I entered the restaurant I could already spell the wonderful aromas from the kitchen. Tonight me and dad ordered the String beans, the salt & pepper pork ribs, and the cumin lamb! The string beans were 10/10, full of flavor! Salt & pepper pork ribs were crispy and delicious! The Cumin Lamb was tender and the best I have ever had! I 100% would recommend this place and it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Cary yet!"
"• Boiled chicken w/ Szechuan chili is very delicious and not that spicy as it might sounds. Good appetizer choice! • The Chinese cuisine this restaurant provides is pretty authentic, and I’d definitely like to go there again! They have lots of options and the ingredients are pretty fresh (some places have pork intestine smells which could be very disgusting…) Love most of the dishes except for the squirrel fish - it’s a bit too sweet. It was also my first time trying the soft shell crab and the taste is pretty interesting loll. Bc the shell is soft, you can swallow the whole thing - crispy outside but tender in, worth a try • Waitress is very welcoming and made you feel like you’re at home! But they need to change their sofa haha. The leather cracks which sting me when sitting"
"My favorite restaurant with authentic Chinese cuisine! I’ve come here a lot with my boyfriend and came last night with friends. We ordered squirrel fish (which is amazing; the name is because the fish looks like a squirrel tail), candied sweet potatoes, dry pot lamb, and sweet and sour lotus root. My boyfriend got kimchi fried rice with pork. I love this place so much because the food is mind blowing and the prices are reasonable. Edit: we came back on a Saturday night and it took us 50 minutes to get served. The waitress gave us our drinks and then disappeared until it was time for the check. I’m extremely disappointed and will likely refrain from coming back during such a busy time."
