"My family celebrated my grandmother's 80th birthday here and it was amazing! The event coordinator, Helen was so sweet and accommodating. The food was delicious and the servers were very helpful and attentive. The room they have for parties/events gives you the perfect amount of privacy to enjoy a larger crowd celebrating. We would definitely recommend!!"

"Fantastic food. Excellent service. I recommend the short rib - one of the best meals I’ve had. Only critique is that the interior is a little dated with the 90s tuscan/stucco looking walls and tables. The decor doesn’t really match the food being served. That’s trivial though. At the end of the day this place is delicious."

"The waitress was oh so kind, and she was extremely nice to my two kids, (both 10yrs). The food was amazing and we especially loved the cheese board. From the crackers to the jam, everything was amazing. The restaurant owner was incredibly kind, and as mentioned, the waiteress was incredible and answered every single question we had. We found the perfect dishes for each of us due to the great service of our waitress. My kids both got the buttered noodles, and they loved them. The sides of fries were amazing and perfectly seasoned. Personally, I got the catch of the day and I loved it. No complaints once or ever."

"Our mid week travel date finds us strolling along the street in Historic Apex. After browsing multiple specialty shops, we stopped in for lunch at The Peak on Salem. We were the beginning of the lunch crowd so were were seated promptly, menus in hand within minutes with sweet tea for refreshment. I ordered The Peak Loaf, noted on the menu as Painted Hills Ground Chuck Meatloaf, Haricot Verts, Mashed Potatoes, and Mushroom Gravy. The meatloaf was cooked to perfection and not overloaded with spices as I have found at other places. The verts were also properly cooked, very tasty. The mushroom gravy was excellent with the mushrooms having a nice texture. My wife enjoyed the B.L.T.A (without the "A", avocado, not her thing!) with the Mixed Greens Salad as the side. She mentioned everything seemed so fresh and tasted great. I thought even the sweet tea had a bold, fresh taste. I really like the thorough descriptions provided on the menu. Overall a great experience at this restaurant. And I can't wait to go back and get the Shrimp and Grits."

"I recently dined at The Peak on Salem in Apex NC during the town's first annual restaurant week, where my partner and I celebrated our anniversary. Our overall experience was wonderful, from the service to the food. Our waiter was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations, which helped us to choose the perfect dishes for our evening. I ordered the pork belly and bolognese, and my partner ordered the fried Brussel sprouts and the chicken. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted incredible. For dessert, I opted for the white chocolate mousse, which was rich and creamy, while my partner enjoyed the classic creme brûlée. Overall, The Peak on Salem is a fantastic spot for a special night out. The cozy and intimate atmosphere, along with the attentive service and delicious food, made for a memorable dining experience. We are excited to return and try more dishes from the menu."
