"Fun vibe, our server was super busy on a Friday night. This place was hopping and the food was pretty good for a high price. Atmosphere was really great but prepare to have a wait and high bill. I would skip the full plates and just stick with the tapas next time. Still pricy but more affordable and fun for the table to share."
"A very cozy, fun atmosphere. We arrived when it wasn't too crowded but it filled up pretty quick. The server was awesome. Good humor, detailed recommendations, and prompt. Prices were high, but the food was very good. We shared deep fried oysters. Most of the party had burgers, but I had the carbonara with scallops. The noodles were soft but not mushy, and the bacon flavor was strong. It was very salty - good at first, but by the end of the meal a bit overwhelming. I'm not sure if get the scallops again. Overall, a nice place to visit once in a while."
"Reviews say get the burger. Got the burger. Great burger! Our other food was amazing as well. Not disappointed to find this place so close to DPAC for dinner before the show. Only draft beers are crafts and cocktails were perfect. Nice vibe in this place. Thanks to all the folks here for making our night memorable!"
"This place lives up to the hype. Everything they put on the table was great. Food and drinks alike. I'd seen them show up some of those best burger lists in Durham you see every now and then and decided to give it a shot. I'm shook. Their offering may have me shaking up my own personal best burger rankings. Their inclusion on any best burger list is legitimate. Bonus points: my gf doesn't drink. She asked for a mocktail. Server her asked for a flavor profile. Idk what they served her, but I do know she couldn't stop talking about it."
"I had been excited to try this place for awhile but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. I ordered the Roman Holiday cocktail and with every sip I got nothing but basil leaves and pulp in my mouth. I’ve never understood why people like cocktails like that. I ordered the mac and cheese, brussels sprouts, and salmon. At the end I asked for a box to take home my leftovers. Instead, the waitress threw the leftovers from the salmon entree away. When I asked about this, she apologized and gave me $2 off the bill…. To make up for over half an entree she threw away. That was really disappointing because there was a lot of food left over and I was excited to eat it the next day. Overall, the experience was just okay. It was loud and busy, and the food was overpriced for the quality. There are so many amazing restaurants in Durham, I don’t see a need to return here."
