"This Durham treasure has all the personality of of Downtown hangout, without the pricing. A delicious menu (mainly bar fair) that's cooked well every time, a super friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. The dining room also connects to beer study, so it's a perfect place to spend a few hours with friends, either gaming or just talking. We had the burger and chicken sandwich which were both delicious! We have ordered the same as take out and the same care and expert cooking were delivered to both!"

"I can’t belive it has taken me this long to get out to The Boot Room. Food was amazing, vibes were perfect for a chill night out. I would be shocked if I wasn’t back next week! I had the “egg roll bowl” sun pork for shitake “bacon” - it was 100%. I have wanted it again every night this week. My husband went a completely different route with the lamb burger. It’s rare that a significant array of food can all taste so good! We were impressed and will be back!"

"I ordered he Bang Bang Tots & Egg Roll bowl, they were delicious! The restaurant falls flat in the wings area. My husband ordered the wings & he let me take a bit of his wings. They were TERRIBLE!!! I took a bite out of 1 wing & immediately spit the food out. They had some weird & strong old smoke or liquid smoke taste. They were supposed to be garlic parmesean wings, but you couldn't taste the garlic or parmesean at all. My husband didn't want to send his plate back, so he ate 2 of those nasty wings, he ate the rest of our Bang Bang Tots & a little bit of my Egg Roll bowl."

"I had been wanting to try The Boot Room for awhile. I’d heard good things. I kept seeing social media posts about it. I finally suggested to a friend we meet there for dinner and it was definitely the right choice. I was told by another friend to try the cheese curds and sweet potato fries for sure. So I did. The cheese curds were SO good. We ate most of them before I remembered to take a pic. Oops. They’re served with two sauces for dipping (one was like a pepper jelly and the other was something creamy - both were delish!). I ordered the kielbasa sandwich with sweet potato fries, my friend ordered the egg roll bowl. My food was really good! The sandwich was huge so maybe cutting it in half would’ve been the move lol. It was a little messy and hard to eat but my daddy didn’t raise no quitter. It was served on a pretzel roll with sauerkraut and brown mustard. A classic combo done very well here. My friend’s egg roll bowl was also really good. And also a big portion. She ended up taking half home for leftovers. Prices were super fair. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and felt casual comfortable. I’ll definitely be back to try more."
