"Poor customer service. If you close at 10 then close at 10. If you close at 948 then post your closing times so people don't waste their time driving there when their on a lunch break. Good help and apparently competent people are hard to find these days. It's one thing to be short staffed, but to open an unlocked door and tell me to my face "it's 951 we closed and we throwing all.the food away ", after sitting in the drive thru for 3 min and no response. I swear you can't make this bafoonery up. Never gotta worry about me going back there EVER!"

"I used to come here with my mother. Hands down best fast seafood in Durham. I got the 2 piece fried fish with fried shrimp and fries and Okra. The Okra was so fresh it literally melted the container it was in (maybe let it rest a bit before tossing it in?) Other than the okra lacking any seasoning, the food was good."

"Fried fish, green beans, and fries hit the spot the other night when I was craving fish. When you want it quickly and don't have the freezer stocked with your own catch, this is the perfect place to get your fish fix! I can't speak for the atmosphere as I've always gone through the drive-thru. Customer service has been excellent each time!"

"The town that I live in now doesn't have a Captain D's, so every time travel and if there's a Captain D's I am always going to eat at my favorite seafood restaurant. Well, some are better taken care of and then some are not worth eating again. This one didn't disappoint! The worker's greetings seemed sincere. The food was delicious and not too greasy. I had the Ultimate Seafood platter and as usual, I couldn't finish everything. The fish were perfectly cooked. The French fries were good and crisp. The hush puppies were not soggy and greasy and the flavor took me back to my childhood. Well done! My next trip to Durham is in April and this place is on my list of places to eat."

"I've been to a few captain D'S over the years at many locations while in the military nothing special just a quick place to get some fish, but this location was definitely by far the best I've been to could definitely compare to a nice fish house everything was fresh and hot and tasted like homemade. Will definitely return here again."
