"Brandon gave us amazing service he was attentive and very knowledgeable ablut the food and Wine. everything was delicious. The filet melted in my mouth. And the Duck my Uncle said his duck was the best he had ever had. We were there for my twin Aunts Birthday and everything was perfect. Complements to the Chef and staff!"

"This place is a little newer (just over a year open) and it definitely impressed us. The service was top notch, the space is beautiful, and the food was so delicious. We ordered the pate and the salmon tartare to start, then got the pork tenderloin and the beef cheeks as our mains. We finished off with the meringue and the creme brulee for dessert. When I say that the beef cheeks were one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten, I'm not exaggerating. The only complaint I might have is that the tables for 2 are a bit small, but that's not enough to take away from my rating."

"My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Bluebird and were absolutely delighted by quality of the food, the ambience, and the level of service. The menu is relatively small and changes with the season, which is an indicator of a passionate culinary team that takes fresh food seriously. This is further reinforced by the open-concept kitchen which you can look into while seated indoors. It is both interesting and reassuring to watch the team behind the food at work preparing your meal. While all of the food was excellent, my entrée of the slow-cooked beef cheeks in a red wine sauce was the star of the show. The dish was decadent and savory with some of the tenderest meat I have ever eaten, accompanied by a french style gnocchi and the most beautifully roasted slices of summery vegetables. My partner's almond trout with green beans was spectacular as well! As an additional surprise, our server brought us out a pair of *complimentary* house-made powdered shortbread cookies in celebration of our anniversary -- a very nice touch. Overall, Bluebird is an absolute gem of chapel hill -- it's elegant without seeming pretentious, and the price point is very fair for the quality of the dining experience. We definitely plan to return."
