"First and foremost as soon as you walk in the ambiance hits you! With the hanging Golden Pothos and window succulents, the reggaeton soundtrack, and the well-crafted berry mojito all contribute to a positive dining experience. The fajita quesadilla and oreo cheesecake recommendations add to the appeal. The Excellent customer service was a plus! All with little to no wait time. If you are traveling to Chapel Hill this restaurant will not disappoint you!"

"I was delighted to have the opportunity to drop by Ta Contento for lunch. The atmosphere is modern Mexican and they have a wider alcoholic drink selection than you might anticipate. I had a margarita chips and queso and a burrito bowl for about $25. Everything was excellent. The chips were light and fresh and queso was on point. The burrito bowl was amazingly flavorful with plenty left over for another meal. As I was wrapping up, I ordered some gluten free yuca fries and plantains and they switched the oil for me."

I'd rather treat myself in support of a locally owned, family run business than to 'run to the border' and order the same at half the price but with questionable toppings, corporate mandated shortcuts and made by some1 who has no stake in or care of the quality of food or service.
