TACOS LOS ALTOS RESTURANT

"Very disappointed! Went in for the taco special, was asked if we were ordering take out because they stop serving in restaurant 30 minutes prior to close. Ordered the taco special and was not impressed. Tacos barely had any meat and the ground beef was overly seasoned. Guacamole was $10 for a side container that would take half an avocado to prepare. Will not return."

"The food is excellent but the service is hit or miss. I went here twice in one week and the first time was for lunch, we were one of two tables there and every thing was excellent. I went back later that week for dinner on a Friday and it took forever, my friend was late and we didn’t order in time so by the time they came back to get our order another table who arrived after us had ordered, eaten and left before we could get our order in. So my advice is go here for lunch or get takeout. And if you go, get your order in as quickly as you possibly can, because they might not come back around for another 15 minutes. There are only a few employees so timing is really important. The food is amazing and probably my favorite Mexican food in Hillsborough but they are short staffed and it’s a small space so keep that in mind."

"Great breakfast menu, not a huge menu for breakfast , but good choices and delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Seemed like authentic tables and chairs (from Central American wood)."

"Food is great. Kinda sucks that there's always two different music streams going on--one in dining area and one in kitchen, but both audible from dining room. Also the new menu layouts are a disaster; they look like they are from 2004 and made using all of Gordan Ramsay's notes on what a menu shouldn't look like. Food keeps me coming back though."
