The Dog House

"Now this is a simple, no frills, no thrills kind of restaurant. I like it. I has a simple menu and has cheap prices. This was my first time trying the restaurant in general and first time at this location. I originally wanted to try the American Classic Burger (looked at the menu online) but this location doesn't serve burgers. So I got the Tailwagger combo. It comes with two hot dogs (all beef dogs are $1 more), medium order of crinkle cut fries, and a medium drink. Not a bad deal plus you can choose what toppings you want it. I kept it simple and just did ketchup and my husband did chili and cheese. The customer service was great and she was very helpful and knowledgeable."

"We have eaten at The Dog House 3 times now and we have loved what we have gotten. It’s a small menu that comprises mostly of hot dogs, hence the name. They have all beef hot dogs, mini corn dogs, chicken salad, Brunswick stew, hush puppies, barbecue sandwiches or plates. The prices are not bad at all. My husband and friend had the hot dogs and they were really good. I’ve had the Brunswick stew with 2 orders of hush puppies which I really liked. 6 hush puppies was only $1.30 or I ordered two. We will be eating here again. This is just a pull up and order at the window place. There are picnic tables outside for you to eat, or you can eat in your car which is what we did."

"Rode out here on the spur of the moment after other plans were canceled. Rated one of the best places for a hot dog in NC and they lived up to the billing. I got a pair of Bull Dogs all beef hot dogs with fries. Just absolutely wonderful - chili and slaw were excellent."
