Barry's Cafe

"Came to Raleigh for the weekend and stumbled across this diner as we were leaving town. Our waitress was Wendy and she had fantastic customer service. Atmosphere is great, people were extremely nice…. But the food was definitely the star of the show. One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had and (hot take) fries might be the best in the world. Extremely impressed with this Diner and will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!"

"Everything a person hopes for in a breakfast place. There was a kind and attentive server that was accommodating to dietary restrictions, the coffee was flowing, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were reasonable. It can be difficult to be objective of a restaurant when you are fortunate enough to be in excellent company, but Barry's Cafe was a great place to begin the day, and I would certainly visit again."

"This place was a rare find. Love the firefighter decor. Laid back, old school diner atmosphere. Friendly, attentive servers and delicious food. I personally wanted to try everything on the menu. It was so hard to decide since they had so many delectable choices. I highly recommend this place!"

"Barry's is really more of a diner than a cafe. I do really like the atmosphere with the bar with stools. They are also a great advocate for firefighters who help guard human lives from fire. On the strength of their GF menu, Barry's gets more points. Overall, the food is good but not spectacular. My friend who has celiac disease said his pancakes were good though they looked a little burned. My breakfast burrito was good so I was satisfied. Will likely be back with my GF friends, but not my first choice."
