"My sister and I dined here and it felt like we were back in my mother's kitchen. The owner was the best and sweetest, but not as sweet as the banana pudding, which I totally recommend. Atmosphere was great and, you definitely leave there full. In short, food for the body and soul is served here."

"Reviews brought my husband and I here so I felt the need to pay it forward (especially for those who search for recent reviews) We waited about 45 minutes for our food (we arrived at about 11:15a) We wanted chicken wings but they were out at the time. My husband decided on fish instead and enjoyed that- he did note that the Mac had a seafood seasoning flavor and yams lacked flavor. I decided on the braised “short ribs” - this was mostly sharp bones and one thin piece of “rib” drowned in jar beef gravy. - the greens were very bitter. The cake was not homemade and was very tight and dry. While everyone’s taste is different, I wanted to continue our tradition of paying our review help forward."

Amazing customer service and the environment was very welcoming and catered to all age groups. We will definitely return.
