"Extremely pleasant dining experience! I've been vegan for 7 years and I still struggle to find fully vegan spots that do justice to Indian food. This place definitely delivers. The menu has a bunch of fusion items that are all crafted in a skillful manor. I highly recommend getting the Jackfruit biriyani. It's seasoned/spiced really well. They also have a fresh juice bar with interesting fruit/veggie combinations. I'm happy that they have this option as many places opt for the lazy/uninspired route of offering pre made juice cartons. I recommend getting the fruit punch as its a new type of flavor. There's also plenty of seating options and it's an overall chill and clean place. The owner is very wholesome as well!"

"The food was okay. My friend said her sandwich was good however the Mac and cheese had no flavor. My sandwich was just okay however the Brussels sprouts and the cookie sandwich were the winners. It was so good! Loved the atmosphere however I recommend the staff not mop in the middle of customers being in the restaurant. The cashier was very nice. One of the cashier’s who may have been the owner was on her phone in front of customers. She paced around the restaurant talking. The bathrooms had a very bad smell. It smelled like they were having bad toilet issues. However the lay out of the store was very welcoming. I loved the couches. I do plan to go back and try more cuisines."

"It's not easy finding gourmet vegan food so I was so pleased to find this cafe. The food is carefully crafted and visually appealing. The tikki burger was perfectly filling, I loved that it has micro greens, all the ingredients in it are much finer choices than what you usually find in burgers. I also had the kebab wrap, it was so tasty with the chutney. I'm only in town two days and I might just eat here for every meal, the menu is impressively vast and unique. I highly recommend you give Pure Vegan cafe a try even if you're not vegan! As a meat eater, this food was very satisfying."

"Our first time coming to Pure Vegan Cafe in Durham and it was amazing. The food was hot and fresh. We didn’t have to wait long and everything was right as we ordered it. Our 5 year old loved her food as well. We definitely recommend visiting this location, you will not be disappointed. Ten out of 10….so good! The manager was so sweet and made sure we were happy with our food. We will be back."
