"Best oysters and BBQ shrimp in the state! Cozy atmosphere for date night, casual dining or family style. The jewel of Charlotte!"
"This is a 4.5 place! Solid 4 on the food. The portion size was awesome. The seasoning and stylare are very close to authentic. We started off with amazing fried oysters. My wife had shrimp creole. I had the Shrimp Diane. The sauce was not the traditional cream sauce associated with "Diane." Very promt on service and great atmosphere. Live jazz/blues band round out the this great experience. We will be back"
"We enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner at Charlotte’s Cajun queen. I had not been there in several years but it was just as good as always. If you like a good Cajun meal, and can’t get to the Deep South, it’s the place to go."
"My sister had the shrimp and grits. Thr blackening seasoning on the shrimp had a kick which was too spicy for her but I thought the flavor was great. Mom got the chicken and shrimp Diane which was also quite spicy but delicious. I had the salmon special and it was out of this world!!!!!! The portions were huge and the service was great. Neat spot to check out if you are around. Be sure to make a reservation."
"Had an amazing time here and so thankful for the friendly staff that squeezed us in between reservations to celebrate a birthday! The atmosphere was so fun with live music and happy bellies. It was a bit close quarters but it didn't take away from the overall experience in my opinion. The food was top tier, full of great flavors and spice! And the cocktail drinks were SO tasty - my favorite was the Louisiana Lemonade. Will definitely be back to celebrate more birthdays in the future and will take advantage of the complementary valet !"
