"Paul and his family are some of the best in business! The food was amazing and full of flavors that explode in your mouth with every bite. I will definitely be coming back. My family enjoyed every dish! My personal favorite is the Thai Fried Rice! If you like Thai Food this is definitely a go to spot and reasonably priced and the portions are mind blowing!"
"This place is very good and clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they served us in takeout containers. Instead of a nice big bowl of soup. Everything was take out containers. It looks like it’s more of a take out place anyway but that just sucked as a dine in experience. Back to the pros, they were very friendly, food was delicious, tasted fresh. I will definitely be back for take out."
"I have ordered take out twice from this restaurant and I loved the food. I got the Yellow curry with rice, Pho chicken soup & crispy summer rolls. Everything was delicious and the portions are big, the crispy summer rolls portion is 2 rolls."
"Well I went Viet –Thai on Friday 5/22/26 at 1:00pm because I wanted to try a PHÖ place near me instead of driving cross town. The restaurant is very clean and basic; a sparce, cold atmosphere. I asked for the PHÖ with well done beef and 2 shrimp spring rolls and iced coffee for dine in. They don’t have iced coffee which is available in almost every PHÖ restaurant I’ve ever been to. That would be a key to what I was going to experience. When they called me up to get my order I was kind of taken aback! I said to the lady, “ I asked for dine in, for here.” She said “yes, this is.” On a tray was a good sized covered to go bowl, a covered quart container of broth, a styrofoam to go box, a zip lock bag bean sprouts, a package of cutlery and a package of chop sticks. In the bowl was pre-prepared beef slices, noodles, chopped green and white onion, basil and cilantro leaves and slices of jalapeno. I tasted the broth before pouring into the bowl and realized it was CHICKEN BROTH! REALLY???!! Once combined the overall flavor was okay but not the hearty beefy flavor I believe PHÖ should have. The beef slices were of a cheap, fatty texture. (See photos) The spring rolls were large but, full of mostly shredded lettuce and two shrimp. The “peanut sauce” was sweet and ginger but, not “peanutty”. I did notice that of the ten of us eating in the restaurant, eight were eating Thai. Only two of us were eating PHÖ; and the other patron had a traditional bowl of PHÖ. When I asked how come I didn’t get my PHÖ in that way, the woman said he was “special customer”…REALLY? Sooo… I have eaten at several PHÖ restaurants in the Central Avenue area. Viet-Thai’s PHÖ is adequate but lacks the heartiness true flavor of an authentic PHÖ. The reviewer that said Viet-Thai’s PHÖ was the best around apparently hasn’t experienced much in the way of real PHÖ. I will have to happily continue to drive over to Central Ave. to get real, authentic PHÖ. It’s worth the drive!! You can see these in my other Google reviews…Mike L"
