Caribou Coffee,

"Caribou normally has better coffee than Starbucks, but if they can't, with their eccentricities, implement customer-friendly store polices, what's the point in trying to be different? We bought a $6 turtle mocha and a (warm) bottle of water and couldn't even get a cup of ice to cool the water. My advice? If you want Caribou coffee, go to the store in Brier Creek. If you want something convenient and enjoyable in Cary, go to Esteamed or BREW downtown. It's a shame, because their brown leather chairs and decor are so much better than their store policies or service, and the ceramic tumbler I bought at this very store, in 2010, is my favorite coffee cup for home use."

"The coffee was great. The atmosphere was that of a cozy coffee shop. Warning: there is almost no parking. If you stay until closing, they turn the lights off on you. If you don't immediately start to leave, then the staff yell at you. My best advice is to not take it personally and have a good laugh if this happens to you. It made me giggle :) I would visit here again. Update: Customer service asked me to email them, and I did. They still haven't responded to my email."

"Had to swing by Caribou while in town visiting my brother and catching a Hockey game. (Let's go Canes!) Ordered hot chocolate for the kids and I got the dark chocolate turtle mocha. Usually I'm a plain black coffee guy, but I have to go with the yummy turtle mocha while at Caribou. Place is always clean and the staff is super friendly."

"Great coffee, friendly staff, and a cozy inside area all stand out for me with this location. It is hard to get to, parking is very limited, and (at the time i went) the outdoor seating was noisy enough that my friend & i headed inside to hear ourselves talk. A great place to catch up with a friend, but the condition of the bathrooms might jolt you from your caffeine buzz."

"Staff was super helpful in picking a drink, interior was wooded and calming. Super cool for the holiday period. Only knock was you kinda need to be a caribou to survive in there, it was super cold, we had to go outside. Haha. Anyway check it out ok? Half mint latte 2% milk was good."
