Showmars Dilworth (East Blvd)

"I had to come back and add more to my review because it just wasn't good enough. Showmars' food is so delicious! I always seem to get the fish and/or shrimp, but in reading several other reviews I'm now anxious to try a burger and a salad with their homemade ranch dressing. The manager at this location is the most friendly and nicest person. But the entire staff there is great! Super nice, friendly, and enjoyable place to eat an awesome meal! I love their onion rings -- so delicious and crispy. Their hush puppies are delicious. Lots of places do not have good hush puppies, but Showmars does them great. Their cole slaw is also delicious. That's another side that a lot of places do not do well. I am a very frequent patron, both in person and using delivery. Truly, the more I eat there the more I want to keep on eating there. I rarely write a review but this place is probably my favorite place to go now. Just sayin! You really need to go! Thank you for everything, Alec and staff!!!! You're the best!"

"I had the original Pita burger with lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The hamburger patties were moist and the cheese covered the entire patties. The pita bread was fresh and toasted just enough to add a little crunch to it. The French fries were lightly salted. I also ordered onion rings which were just as delicious as the fries. The cracker meal batter added to the deliciousness of the sweetness of the onions."

"I was craving a fish sandwich and decided Showmars was the way to go. I went to the Dilworth location. Was not so busy, and I was able to find parking right away. They do have a parking lot right in front, so it makes it easier. The sandwich was delicious, but I do wish that I ordered extra tarter sauce as it did feel a bit dry to me, but none the less it was still delicious. I got fries, and they were good also. They were not the best fries in town, but it definitely did the trick. Overall, it satisfied my craving. Everyone was super nice and very efficient. Did not wait long to receive my order and was in and out in less than an hr, which is perfect for me since my lunch break isn't that long. I'm looking forward to going back."

"I've eaten at all the Showmars around town but never had their soups. Today I tried the Cactus Chili, that comes with warm pita bread, and it's delicious. I suggest you give it a try when you're not quite hungry enough for their larger meals."
