"This review is overdue. I had to sing at a funeral on Saturday, 01-14-23. I wanted some comfort food afterwards, so I stopped by. I got a veggie plate with cabbage, green beans, and mashed potatoes. They were out of some of the other sides on the menu. I also ordered dessert. I waited a little longer than usual to get my food. I think the young lady at the register forgot about my order. I tend to call ahead before going as they are sometimes closed when you would expect them to be open."

"First time at this establishment for a lunch order. The front staff was great! Very friendly and welcoming. I ordered chicken wings, banana pudding, a white chicken (breast & wing) plate, and a gallon of tea/lemonade. The chicken was nicely cooked. I just wish it had been cooked in fresh grease. It had a taste of being cooked in used oil. The tea tasted days old. Poured it out! Easy online ordering and in-store pickup. Although I found them by searching "best banana pudding," I didn't find it to be anything to write home about. Maybe it was just a bad day. I may give them another chance and try something different, but it will be a while."

"Food was awesome seasoned to perfection, very professional the cashier short light girl was very nice even came to the table to give us menu suggestions the music was vibe olschool I love it. My only complaint are the flys couldn’t enjoy kept swiping for flys but I’ll be back."

"Being new here, We had been anticipating visiting this restaurant for quite some time. There were a lot of cars in line which would automatically indicate that we had made a very good decision. Upon arrival we figured out that the restaurant was drive through only. There was no mention of this on the website. There was also no mention that you would get your food faster if you ordered on their website before getting to the window. Finally after the long wait in line and also having to park and wait we got our food. The smothered pork chops were somewhat tough (compared to Nana’s). The food was way TOO salty to the point that your tongue was left feeling numb from so much salt. The serving sizes were good and the yams were ok. Take lots of $$$"
