"Alex was amazing with his attentive service and the food equally amazing. This is my third time visiting this establishment and believe me it will not be my last. Update 1/18/24 - Had another fantastic dining experience at my favorite Mexican spot! The food was excellent, the ambience was delightful, and Cristo was outstanding. Can't say enough good things – it's consistently a top-notch experience!"

"Caela! Wow she really was the star of the show, and an amazing host. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the establishment, we all felt right at home. She expertly navigated our table, and answered all our questions while providing excellent recommendations on both food and drink. The food was amazing! I had the Lomo and Brisket tacos, with chips/salsa/queso. My table split a pitcher of a mango margarita. Everything came out very timely, and tasted fantastic. The margarita was fresh, not overly sweet or premixed. Can’t wait to come back! Check them out on Thursday for live music."

"La Capital is really good. I really enjoyed their service and the ambiance. Enjoyed the unlimited chips and salsa. I ordered chicken mole enchiladas and they were alright. I thought that the chicken inside the enchiladas was going to be the chicken prepared with the mole and I was wrong. They just wrapped shredded chicken in some tortillas and just poured the mole sauce on top. The chicken was a little dry. I don’t think I’ll be asking for that same plate again. Overall food was okay but had a really nice time with friends enjoying some margaritas."

"The restaurant is very neat, good service and atmosphere. The food was not what I expected. Their sanitation score is not high. However, I will go back in a couple of months to see if they have improved."

"Quaint place in Uptown CLT. Was visiting family and took my mom for her bday dinner here. Appetizers were small but good. The tacos were good and salsas were quite nice and had some kick to it. Overall solid place. Would come back and try the entrees next time."
