"1st let me say this place needs to reevaluate there sanitation practices because everybody there seems to be unaware of what clean is . Ok now I let take about the food I got seated pretty fast and was happy with the window view but they have plates sitting on the table that’s I seen immediately was not clean had black spots and old food on it .waitress was nice but I ordered my food and 2 minutes later she is bringing it to the table in my head I’m like damn that was fast . But soon as she set it down I seen that the food was definitely old the Mac and cheese has hard elbows that had to be sitting all day the sweet potato was the same sitting on a cast iron that was warm to the touch definitely not fresh and the chicken the same almost cold the only thing that seemed fresh was the fries . They bought out the drinks with straws already in them that’s nasty and on top of all that I had a long price of hair in the Mac n cheese and or the sweet potato’s . Either way I was disgusted at that point . Everybody that came out the kitchen had long hair or nappy hair that could easily fall in to food . I recommend hair nets for anyone handling food or drinks and gloves and don’t serve old food to customers and let the customers put they own straw in they drink . This place has a 4.6 rating and that’s definitely outdated because it’s by far the worst restaurant I experienced in Charlotte in a long time. Employees are more concerned with each other rather than the customer experience. Won’t recommend or ever come back even if they offered me a free meal"

"My friends and I went to the Eagle tonight and we all LOVED it. The food was delicious, but it was our server Blake who made it a 5 star experience. There's only a handful of restaurants in Charlotte that have remarkable food AND service, and the Eagle is definitely one of them."

"The chicken BLT was amazing! Shrimp and grits are pretty good too but wish they had just a bit more room for extra gravy. Other than that service was fantastic! Atmosphere is relaxing. Would recommend !"

"I had a great experience at The Eagle. I ordered the spicy chicken dip and the fried chicken BLT and neither disappointed! Everything was well seasoned and delicious, and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I’m definitely going to order some sides next time we come! They have an extensive beer/wine/whiskey list and I was able to order a tasty beer to complement my meal. Even my non-beer drinking sister found a good seltzer on the menu. I’m for sure coming back to eat here the next time I’m in town!"

"Alona was a fantastic server, she provided exceptional service for our first time being here! The food was fantastic, as every dish came out to be superb. -Spicy Chicken dip was spot on. Cheesy, creamy, and savory with some spice to it. -Shrimp perfectly cooked, grits was the right consistency. A great side to have. -Whole Chicken was juicy! Wonderful flavor, and the side of honey (some mixture) was a great addition. -Braised Pork burger was good, sauce was nice too -Mac N Cheese hit different. Love the crunchiness at the top. You have to get the chicken no matter what. It was so delicious, and I highly recommend this place. Definitely my top 5 to eat in Charlotte!"
