"This is my first time in Charlotte and as a foodie I was excited to try the goodies of the city. My sister girl brought me here for a send-off meal before I flew back home and ooowee, the chefs put their whole thigh in it! We were seated immediately by the kitchen and started off with the fried green tomatoes and the Mardi Gras beignets. Top notch! The tomatoes boasted a bacon jam with thick pieces of bacon and what can I say about the beignets? With a hint of cinnamon orange, nestled in a blanket of whipped cream, organic strawberry preserves and liberally topped with Mardi Gras sugar crystals they defied expectation! This was followed by the biscuits and gravy that I added goat cheese and the sweet heat chicken. Again, amazing! Gravy was chock full and savory, the chicken fried well and the hot honey blew my mind. My sister girl ordered the Gulf shrimp omelet with grits and cheddar that she thoroughly enjoyed. We were served by the lovely and pleasant Rae. I will most definitely return! Laissez, les bons temps rouler mea amis!"

She is our number 1 reason for 5 stars, as she made great selections, was attentive, and very family friendly. Would highly recommend the cinnamon swirl pancake's for any pancake lovers!"

"First time ever coming here and it was a great experience. We were traveling from out of town and we're looking for a good breakfast spot in this was definitely worth our time. Food quality was amazing and atmosphere was fantastic. Staff was wonderful and I loved the wallpaper in the bathroom. Only complaint was the time from getting seated to the first server arriving was almost 40 minutes they didn't look super busy but I imagine we got there early before they were fully staffed. Definitely going to go back because all of the food items looked amazing"

"Came in on a Saturday morning and only had to wait 1 hour and 45ish minutes for a table. We were lucky enough to get a street parking spot. The service was pretty good, not the best we've had. They were out of 4 different things we wanted to try, so I'm guessing they were good. We should have gotten there earlier, and maybe they would have had them. I asked for over medium eggs and got over easy. Order a coffee and ended up having to ask for it twice because they forgot to bring it out with the other drink. The food over all was good, just not worth waiting over an hour to try it out."
